CTCS Presents: The Baxter Trio – A 70-Year Celebration in Music

Celebrate seven decades of musical excellence with a landmark concert from the Cape Town Concert Series 2025, featuring the inaugural performance of the newly formed Baxter Trio—a chamber ensemble comprising Cape Town’s finest:

  • François du Toit (piano), Head of Chamber Music at UCT
  • Farida Bacharova (violin), Head of Strings at UCT
  • Graham du Plessis (cello), acclaimed cellist with the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra
