Mowbray Market

The Mowbray Market is predominantly a fresh produce market supporting rural farmers with access to a market within the city. The produce on sale is produced with Agroecology in mind. The market runs on the first Saturday of every month at Gordon’s Gym which is on the corner of Liesbeek and Durban roads in Mowbray.

Fresh veggies and seedlings from Suurbrak; fresh fish from Buffeljagsbaai, endemic plants from Genadendal.

Produce and plants are grown free from synthetic and toxic agricultural chemicals.
