The Long March to Freedom is a world-class outdoor heritage exhibition located in Century City, Cape Town. It features more than 100 life-size bronze statues of South African and international liberation leaders, telling the story of South Africa’s 350-year struggle for freedom and democracy. The procession includes kings and queens, warriors, military generals, intellectuals, and activists whose lives shaped the country’s history.
The exhibition is owned and operated by the National Heritage Project Non-Profit Company and serves as both an educational and tourism destination.
