Prodigious Pianist Luis Magalhaes Presents “Farewell” Recital

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon as Luis Magalhaes, a prodigious pianist, performs a solo piano “Farewell” recital at Christ Church Constantia on Sunday, June 2nd, at 3pm. After 20 years in South Africa, Luis is relocating to his native Portugal, and this recital marks his farewell performance.

The program will feature a masterful selection of pieces, including Mozart’s Fantasia in C minor, a selection of Debussy’s Preludes, Brahms’ Klavierstücke Op. 119, and Prokofiev’s Piano Sonata No. 6 in A.

Luis Magalhaes has an illustrious career, having performed extensively across Europe with recent engagements in Germany, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, and beyond. His international acclaim includes performances in Brazil, South Africa, China, Japan, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and multiple appearances in the United States.
