Opera UCT, in collaboration with the Vocal Division of Stellenbosch University, presents their fifth annual concert featuring South African Art Song. Following previous themed successes—Die Winterreise, Le poète disait, Great Lieder Composers and their Operas, and Canciones Españolas—this year’s programme delves into the rich linguistic and stylistic diversity of South African song. Accompanied by Professor Jeremy Silver on piano, audiences can expect a lyrical journey through a tapestry of sound.
